That’s what I’m saying. My oldest living relative is 93, she was born in 1921. Her grandmother would have been a slave. That’s only 5 generations. 

Slavery get further and further away depending on the white person you talking to. If you don’t check them they’ll try and say slavery ended in 1776 with the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

My great grandmother is 87. She is half black and half white. There are no pictures of her grandfather and its a collectively known fact no one is allowed to talk about. We were taught young to never bring up who my great grandmothers father was and it was until i was much older did i learn why. Slavery didnt end nearly as long ago as white people like to believe.
